Hi! I'm Paula Dungavell, M.Cl.Sc.

REGISTERED AUDIOLOGIST, AND FOUNDER OF THE HEARING PLACE

Ever since I was young, I've always been drawn to the healthcare industry. My journey as an audiologist was greatly influenced by my grandmother's passing, which instilled in me a profound understanding of how crucial hearing is for connecting with loved ones.

At The Hearing Place, we are dedicated to providing exceptional hearing healthcare through personalized solutions. We aim to empower and reconnect you with the joy of sound and the deep satisfaction of genuine connection.

    • Master’s in Clinical Audiology, University of Santo Tomas, Philippines 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, University of Santo Tomas, Philippines

    • College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)

    • Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC)

    • Practicing as an Audiologist in Ontario for over 15 years. 

    • 8 years in Newmarket, 5 years in Waterloo and have been in London for over 3 years now

    • Outside of the clinic, Paula cherishes spending time with her husband, Ryan, and daughter, Zora. From spring to fall, you'll often find them exploring London's trails, enjoying picnics in the park, or trying (with varying success) to fly a kite – always followed by a well-deserved ice cream. While Ryan and Zora embrace winter adventures like tobogganing, Paula enjoys the quieter moments, indulging in a good book or cooking up delicious Filipino dishes. 

    • She enjoys aikido and has been practicing for over 20 years!

Hi! I'm Rayah Wilson

REGISTERED HEARING INSTRUMENT SPECIALIST (h.i.s), AND CO-FOUNDER OF THE HEARING PLACE

Inspired by my grandfather's experience with hearing loss, I began my journey into hearing healthcare as a Hearing Instrument Specialist.

After three years of working in the field, my dream of opening a warm and welcoming, community-oriented clinic came to fruition with The Hearing Place. Partnering with Paula, who shares my values and commitment to exceptional, empathetic care, we prioritize patient needs above all else.


At The Hearing Place, we are dedicated to creating personalized solutions that empower our patients to reconnect with the world of sound and fully participate in all that life has to offer.
